after waiting 5 weeks, the zed was finally dropped off at the bodyshop yesterday afternoon for its revamp. im hoping to have it finished for the summer all being well. i will be taking pics as progress developes. here are a few pics as it was when i bought it.

i didnt really want to say anything, but fook it. heres a list of parts that ive got for it. plus it will be having a complete respray.

 

strosek wide arch kit

strosek rear bumper

strosek front bumper

lightweight one piece prop

viper one piece 6 pot rear lights

bought the wheels off gumballs black wide arch. 8j front, 12j rears

full set of z350 gold brembos, still need upgrade discs

getting leather interior kit. thanks to funkysi for link and info ;)

complete carputer with 7in motorised touchscreen

upgrade polished ali rad

hicas elliminator

complete stainless exhaust and decat pipes

defi guages, which i may change

HID upgrade

new steering wheel and boss

chrome bonnet stay

smithys set of polished stainless slam panels

smithys stainless z battery clamp

 

thats all i can think of at the minute, but there will be more :cool:

lucky git, ya cant beat a strosek kit, mmmmm what ya doin with all the bits that are comin off it, or is it a case of watch this space.

be patient can take a while bud but always worth it in the end

alan, i will be doing quite a lot of work myself at the weekends. i dont mind taking the angle grinder to it at all, that wont bother me. lol. i darent mention fat arse in front of the missus, she will think im talking about her :p

 

 

daz, a freind of mine will be doing most of it. he normally does classics like ferraris, porsches, jags, daimlers, ect :D

 

 

 

legrath, i have thought long and hard on a colour. i originally saw one i really liked called, ice blue pearl. i had a word with my mate who will be doing the job, he shown me a silver that he had in the workshop, which after seeing it on a panel, have decided to go with that. its a very bright silver which is a shade just before going to a metal flake, if you can understand that. lol

just a few more bits i remembered. got a set of 550s with matching chip and a spare plenum for polishing, apexi avc-r, clocks with silver faced indiglos and full face stainless insert. thats it for now.

Excellent...I really live Silver Zed's and an even brighter silver would look fantastic :cool:

update : collected recon box early this morning, then straight to DHL depot to collect my set of z350 gold brembos. went down to the bodyshop to do a few bits. removed door rubbers, trims, rear lights, clocks, plus a few other bits and bobs. here a few pics taken on the phone, so quality may be a little crap.

thanks legrath. it may be a better idea to remove the filter and stick a rag in to bung it up. will have to remember that for next sat.
