fusion flat blade wipers!!! - anyone tried them?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=360012075090&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=023

Ignoring the self promotion around it has anyone tried these or similar on their zed?

I find my wipers to me pretty substandard but dont know when they were last changed.

My girlfriend has these on her new polo (curl up like an old sandwich when you lift them off the screen) and they seem to be pretty effective but different windscreen shape and newer and newer blades and not having to cope with the same speed as the zed.

Thoughts?

They are much better than crappy framed wiperblades. They are quieter, don't lift like normal wipers and are neater looking.

Certainly better than those hateful chrome wiper blades...

I have them on my new Civic type R and they look funky. They work well but you would expect that on a brand new car so i'm probably no help at all. :slap: :D

Me bro's got them on his new citroen c4, split after 12 months and came around mine to fit the normal ones we have that he just bought from the car boot sale.

I sent him on his way and he got some replacement flat ones from halfuds for 28 notes. PMSL

gonna buy some from ebay now, hurry he has 995 purchases left, Im thinking there universal?

I just bought some of these for my beamer an they don't fit right. Basically they have a stronger curve to the blade than the springforce of the wiper arm can straighten. Result is that on the flat section of the screen (ie right smack in the middle), the blade doesn't touch the screen. Sending them back tomorrow.

Well thats put me right off.

What fookin good are they if they don't wipe the area you need them to!!! I take it, a car would fail the mot if they don't wipe the area properly!

Thats on a BM tho, Who knows for the Z  i woulndnt mind a pair lol!!!

Yes, they would definitely be an MOT failure. As long as the windscreen has some good curvature then they will be great, not sure about the Z though - it's quite flat.
