try interparcel.com you wont belive the prices compared to the main firms even though it is them that carries the parcels. Some people also say parel2go.com is cheaper but i have never found that to be the case, espeacilly for big items.

not heard of interparcel.com so just did a couple of quotes (one small package, 1 large).....and parcel2go.com is definatly cheaper.

interlink express will carry bonnets on a next day delivery but will cost around 35 quid i know this as i work for them but yes parcel to go will be cheaper on a 2-4 day delivery

I use apc overnight, i use them everyday for 2 years and never let me down :D

Have you got a phone number or web address for them?

Tar, Ste

I recommend parcel2go. Steer clear of Citylink.

parcel2 go will not take any car parts and hum and are over anything longer than 1.5m

I sent a bonnet on Monday, next day delivery £10. APC Overnight.

was just going to mention these, I got a bonnet delivered but it had a slight fold on the corner :(

Incorrect. I use parcel2go all the time for posting parts, all labelled as car parts, and anything over 1.5m you just pay extra premium like any courier.

Anyone heard of DPD Couriers and that they need an 11 digit #. For example 300000 33000. Think that will be my birth and personal number... Never heard of a company that needs that before....??

They wouldnt take any of my parts. and that was the size limit they gave me.

said car parts was a bigg no no :slap:

i work for a well known company in this field. all i can say on it is, becareful using the cheap companys online. they will use the larger well known ones anyway. but because of the amount they ship they get it cheap. yea all good till insurance comes into play. it's at a minimal.

i'd say use a direct link to a well known one an check how thier insurance works. also if u get any damages that you want to claim for...keep all packaging. some places send thier own ppl in to pick up an inspect. anything missing an they will go a for a void claim. tight gits will do all they can to get out of it. if it's done by a third party company, like a couple mentioned....forget it! you can end up with as little as the cost of delivery back.

christ i'd get shot for telling you that :slap: lol

Mike

I work for UPS. I was a driver, now one of the trainers. it's a good crack, but you hear some horrific rip-off stories due to extra extra small print. no doubt the same with all sorts of companies.
