Im looking to fill in the hole completely, where the clock went in the stereo facia plate ?

is there any way of filling in the hole then bog it /sand it/ and paint the same colour as the car ? its made of a hard plastic (i think).

Im installing a double din dvd player and i dont want that hole there.!

also i dont want to have to resort to installing a turbo timer or similar in there

Any suggestions would be much appreciated !

i glassed mine then skim filled, flatted and painted it :)

Yep, did much the same with mine, would look better had I taken a little more time on it - patience isn't one of my strong points :smash: but it's not too hard a job

I just wasnt sure if the fibreglass would stick to it and cock up and crack etc further down the track ?

I wouldnt mind seeing a photo of the finished unit with the 8" or 7"inch car-puter screen installed ??

When you say "skim-filled" ? do you mean after f/glass you gave it a wipe with some putty to fill in any little pit marks/holes ?

Ive got a 7'inch screen going in there also, & i also need to hide small mobile DVR + LAN box somewhere (hidden but with easy access) ,and this hooks up to the front + rear IR /movement sensor camera's !.

Havent done much fibreglassing before but will have a crack at it.

Cheers !
