does anyone know why my thread where all i was asking for advice on my advert for my zed has been deleted i wasnt askin anyone on here to buy it only if they thought the ad looked ok because i think selling one of these cars is hardly the same as selling a ford escort so whoever it was nice one :mad:

i deleted it, the title of the thread was "my zed for sale", then you posted where it was for sale and the item number, then near the end you stuck the old chestnut of "how does the add look"

 

you were blaitinly trying to sell your car on here using a deceptive way, it is against the forum rules for a registered user to sell on these forums

£20 is not a great deal of cash to support this forum in all it does. See people on here with 4000 plus post and still registered users only.

well like i said i wasnt tryin to sell it on here ive only just put the advert on another site last night to see what intrest it would get and my mistake in thinkin this club was helpful in the way of giving advice to a fellow zed owner so like i said iwas only lookin for advice hense why i put it in that area so now not only am i gutted because i have to get rid of my zed but now pissed of because i cant get a simple piece of advice on my advert on a seperate site

for help on what an advert for a car looks like, just do what i did and look at other peoples

From then on you have to be a fully subscribed member to sell, end of. that way when anything goes south the club at least has contact details to pass on to solicitors.

Whether you did or didn't is besides the by. You had the information on the site for your personal gain whether that was how you indended it or not.

its the same for most decent forums now. you pay a joining fee and have to give your details. this then at least gives some protection to both the buyer & seller if things go pear shaped. if you purchased a car on this forum and forked out, lets say £6k for it, then a week later you found out it was fooked, i think anyone would be well pi$$ed off if nobody had any contact details at all. i know i would be. im not taking sides, just my opinion from being involved with the running of a forum before.

how about including in teh sale membership for the new owner to this club, sooner or later they all end up here asking for advice. Some stay and actualy get abused on a regular basis. Some of the abuse is realy bad, and they cry all the way home to momy, chuck their toys out teh pram and wont come back out to play. But we stick a herring in their engin bay tee hee.
