Any High powered rear wheel drive it not snow friendly....but ok in general wet/winter weather though...just be sensible with the right foot.

i love the zed to bits but love the sound of an extra £255 a month whilst on pesant pay :)

had a few sphincter clenching moments last winter with the z in its auto guise, be carefull of roundabouts

LOL. Its caught me out a couple of times at roundabouts aswell - when it was wet.

dont even bother in the snow, stay at home because you will either crash or get stuck :p

A few real nice motors off here got wrote off last year in bad weather, I drive mine daily, rain, sleet, fog but not snow, take it easy in any car in bad weather, and be careful at roundabouts. keep an eye on your tyres good quality and plenty of life in them, remember they are the only part of the car that touches the road.

£255 per month hope thats a typo!

use one of the 255 quid monthly savings and buy a dog of a car you dont mind the salt and ice eating and other cars skidding into ....dont take the zed out in the slippy stuff it will end in tears ,..........................

Auto ZX twin turbo and snow......?

Don't bother.... :nono:

As soon as you reach even the slightest incline the wheels will spin like hell and you just won't go anywhere. Also the slightest touch of the accelerator can send the back end out in snow. Leave it at home!

Normal wet winter weather is fine though - as said above, just make sure you have good quality tyres on the car. In fact anyone who puts cheapo tyres on a ZX is asking for trouble at any time of year.

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

So many Zs got written off last winter it was unreal. Mine will be off the road soon for the winter.

dont have the luxury of a heated garage, but mine will be off the road this winter. Will be looking into getting a good cover for it.

went out today in the wet greasy conditions and it just reminded me why we need to be very carefull of these cars in the wet, could only use half throttle as it was breaking away almost constantly, makes your throttle foot very skilled , might be taking mine off the road for winter now

no need we just have to drive acordingly, just the same as any other RWD, Drive like a mad man and it will bite back :(

fook we only had two days of morning snow last year, just chuck two lui days in lol

muine is a dailly drive and has been for 4 years, its been ok so far.....touches wood.............and again lol

Manual N/A, it was a sharp off camber right hander just after a petrol station. it spun 180 quicker than i could correct. turns out ABS doesnt work in reverse.

Please be carefull guys I'm fed up of seeing "I wrote off my zed and nearly killed myself" posts on here when it comes to winter :(

One of many things we were taught on the Advanced course was - always treat the approach to and exits from a filling station with huge respect - as all diesel and petrol spills remain on the tarmac waiting for a sucker biker or car driver to spin out.

If you notice any corner or bend within 300 meteres of a filling station will have those tell-tale streaks of 'wet'. As a surving biker of many years I watch those like a hawk.

Trucks chuck any overspill out either side of petrol stations.

No traction cotrol, ESP, or ABS will be of slightest use to you. Just a mobile phone and some disinfectant.

Just "Add water to taste" :mac1:
