Can someone tell me how to remove the rear stock (foam) spoiler with Brake Light?

When removed, what kind of finish can I expect underneath and how many holes?

Thanks fellas!

it has clips, screws and glue! there is a write up on here sumwhere... do a quick search. as for the finish, it will be bad and it will have a fair few holes :)

They are a bugger to remove and leave a right mess, lots of glue, holes, dents. Quite often you will end up with a rippled tailgate as removing the spoiler causes high and low spots.

You will need to get it rubbed down the holes filled the whole lot fillered skimmed and then probably the entire tailgate resprayed.

Then fit perspex strip that sits above the rear lights.

i removed mine myself, left about 4 holes that i had welded up and sprayed, it looks 100 times better, you need a perspex cover above the tail lamps, you can get them with or without brake lights from the Z centre

you need to take off the panals that cover the boot lid mine had 4 bolts which once undone allowed the spoiler to be prised free it only took 3 hours and resulted in a bent lid it was bonded on with some nasty sticky black stuff its easier to remove if your not keeping the spoiler cos you can bend it out of shape i tried to save mine thats why it took so long then there are some holes than need welding up and filling over its a long job but looks awesome when its done

looking at your pics saikoracer and noticed you remover your areial to, did you re-locate one?
