need some input of your views on which bumper to go for. i have 3 choices but dont know which to choose, 1) stick with the one thats already on in pic below, 2) i have a 99 spec in storage, or 3) sell the 99 spec and get the same one thats on the front of GUMBALLS. :confused:

What the strosek on his black TT or the Evolusion Explosion type on his Blue NA? I love the Evolusion Explosion wide arch body kit except for that hidious front bumper. Don't do it. It is as bad as the Veilside Shark type :hurl:

 

Personally I'd sell the 99 spec and get the Stillen Chin spoiler and smoked indicators and fogs. The strosek front bumper is really old fashioned and looks well dated + it doesn't follow any of the lines of the car unless you alter the lines with the old fashion rounded Strosek arches and side skirts..

 

I used to have the 99 spec on my Blue TT, but it is too soft and not agresive enough for the cars image.

I do like the stillen extenstion but if you are also looking for more horse power you are restricting air flow alittle

the black one. not keen on the blue ones front, and i cant stand the shark one, no offence to the members that have those by the way. i do like the strosek one though. think im going to have to have a serious think about this as its getting very near the crunch of going into the bodyshop.

Urethane plastic ones are worth a look, nothing worse than spending all that money and it cracks or splits.

If you can find one, get an Impul front bumper and skirts. Not everyone's cup of tea, but I love the front end on this. Retains the nice lines of the Z, but makes it look a little more aggressive.

 

A close second is the OEM bumper with Stillen extension, then followed by the Escort Racing front bumper. 99 spec after that.

 

Never liked any of the greddy/stillen GTZ/scarab type front bumpers as they just don't follow the look of the rest of the car at all so glad you're not deciding on those. The contours and sage lines don't match the shape of the Z and they tend to be rammed full of chicken wire.

 

The Strosek one will just look sooooo out of place. Never been 100% sure on the strosek front. The compliment a wide arch kit, but they'd not be what I'd go for. On a standard 2+2 it just won't look right in the slightest IMHO.
