Been having a few words with the misses over when they should go up. I want to put them up soon, she thinks i should wait till december at lest. What do you lot think/do?

Si, i succumbed, i bought a tree and decorations and i didnt do it because i was in the spirit of it, just because the olds are coming round and fook me, if we didnt it would be pistols at dawn!! Its for my gran more than anything, i will humble myself and ask for forgiveness.

 

im still keeping my wallet well in my pocket, no presents this year. I bought a tree instead!

thing is with christmas, the presents mean fook all, i didnt want to put a tree up or spend the coin doing it but to know when my nan is here and that she will feel better knowing we are altogether and that her family is happy, it will make her feel so happy.

 

If it makes others happy, its worth doing ten fold!! as a christian that is what its all about!

I just cant focus on Christmas until Halloween and Guy Fawkes night are out the way at least, then it starts to hit home that it's on it's way :eek:

No, the '12 days of Christmas' actually start on Christmas day and end on January 5th. My parents are quite religious and they'll only put up the main decorations about 10 days before the 25th. I don't think I've ever put up decorations in my own house. LOL
