maybe a fraction less as the shell is not as smooth inside as de-catt pipes but the benefits in my eyes sway in favour of de-gutting because theres no risk of broken studs, you can keep the heat shields, and its easier on the pocket ;)

i cant get to that link baldy i think i gotta sort my membership first is are the catts easy to remove as i spoke to a friend who owns a garage and he said he wouldnt do cause to much of a pain to get of but another friend said its not to bad

They are fiddly to get to , i ended up kneeling on top of the engine to get to the top elbow bolts on the o/s turbo , the n/s is easier you just take the battery out for better access , but a ramp is a must for access underneath as you might need to heat some of the nuts up to get them off :smash: HTH

cool im of to a garage tomorrow so might have a look is it just a case of get them of and ram a spike down them till it breaks out cheers
