I have had my z stolen a little while ago and i have only been offered 2000 pounds, need advice on the average price of a mint conditioned 300zx tt 1990 full respray ect ect it was really in excellent condition. I valued it at approx 3500 to 4000 tell me whether im looking for to much or is the 2000 pounds the normal going price??? for one in this condition. advice on dealing with my insurance would be appreciated. Could an official or someone on this site give a valuation on my car to give to the insurance company.

when i wrote my first Z off in an accident they tried to give me £800 till I asked them to contact zedworld and they were told how much the car was worth and i received around £3k for a G plate n/a import with 60-odd on the clocks, mite be worth a try

Never accept their first offer mate!

 

Look an Auto Trader's 'site and pull off some adverts for cars similar to yours. There are planet of average looking 300zxs on there for around £3k+ so a nice one "should" fetch more.

 

Also provide the insurers with evidence of any work you have done to the car that would improve its overall condition, thus increase the value.

 

Finally tell them you consider the car to be worth £3-4k and will not accept ridiculous offers. They will come back with an improved offer, I'm sure.

make sure they know its a z32 not a z31 and that they know its a tt and if its a manual that too. when mine was writen off they "proved" what it was worth by showing me adverts for a Z31, 2 NAs and a non runner

I,ve just got a so called agreed valuation , i valued it at 4.5k , sent all the relavent piccies and info and it came back valued at 3.5k :xxx: this was with Towergate Undewriting through Norwich Union :headvswal
