no i wasn't nicked ,i had to go to the police station 1st as the speed was very high, and the chief of police ,said pay the fine or go to court(that would of been a fine and prison)..

altho the pics indicate kmh as everybody knows the apexi unit (as its a japanese unit) always shows kmh.

the indicated top speed is a true indication of what my car can do, altho i never did it on the road as i dont beleive it has the power to get there.

the pics were taken after a rolling road run.

on the autobahn in germany last year i had an indicated speed of 192mph on my boost contoller whilst following a merc cl55 amg.

your speed reading indicates KPH..so cant remember exactly how to covert, but 201 kph is more like 160 ish (mph)

Unless I've missed the point here, it was doing what it said on the tin, albeit that the tin should have been measured in MPH not KPH.

 

I have said Apexi in my car, and although it claims to be reading in KPH, it's not it's reading in MPH, it just happens to add KPH on the display afterwards.

 

Does that make any sense?

 

The long and the short of it was that it was reading 201 mph on the rolling road - pretty damn quick.

 

Just to add a little fuel on the fire of the debate, btw, Steve (previous owner of my car) reckons he had 178 on the Autobahn, and that's in a car that's running 555s and 1.4 bar of boost (prolly producing around 450-ish brake), so fook knows how much power is required to make 200mph... Maybe there was more to come? :p

No way will they do 196 (manual) and 204 (auto). 212mph is Diablo league and the 300ZX is no way near that I'm afraid.
