Assuming you mean the Brembo Gold ones,(fronts) then yes they are straight on with just drilling your hub holes out to 14mm instead of 12mm, you also need the bolts that come with them or buy new.

Rears I believe is a different story, I think Andyp has fitted the rears.

Well what is one of the best upgrades you can get? Direct replacements are definately the best solution though

I have all the rare bits you can't find :tongue:

Yeah it's pretty good, can be pricey as the 350Z isn't that old so the calipers are not as common second hand as the Skyline GTR ones. Replacement discs however are more expensive than the GTR too, if I had a choice of 350z gold or GTR34 Gold, i'd go with the GTR ones, just IMO of course :) All a very good upgrade though so yer can't go wrong.

Sorry just re read yer post. dohhh

For the money which is only a bit more than the set ups above, the K-sport 6 pot kits seem great value for money, comes with everything and pretty much just bolts on :)

Cheaper option, the Skyline GTR33 set up, Black/Red Brembos, being older they go for around 400 quid and require no drilling of hubs.

Just as good as the GTR34 Golds and 350Z golds, just older mate, ALL are Brembo and all are the same size/dimension etc.

cheers

How good are the Skyline GTR33 ones?

May be worth doing a re-seal kit on them to get them up to scratch. IMO those K-sport ones look well worth a look. They are very cheap for a full upgrade. The skyline brakes are an excellent upgrade compared to the Zed brakes but remember the sky-bus boys still upgrade those to bigger ones if they are doing track time and the Zed must be the same weight as the GTR?

There is a set of front R33 brembos, with discs and pads on the GTR forum at the moment for the bargain price of £475 IIRC...

That's exactly what I thought when I chose my Wilwood 335mm fronts. I took a stroll over to the GTR owners forum and had a look at what they upgraded to. Turns out it is 335mm for their stock wheels.

So hey presto, after a bit of searching I found some on E-Bay and bought them. A few engineering mods later and they are fitted to my Z.

Sorry for absolutely rubbish pics, I dont have my Fuji with me.

Would it be worth getting the both front and back or just mainly fronts?

It's nice to have front and rear matching, plus there is a difference - the car feels a little more balanced when braking hard.
