My Z passed its MOT at last, YAY!!!! the bad news is its stuck at the test centre with a flat battery!! had it started for ages too, and the Batt light is coming on and going out as it should, anyone know any common charging faults, I have had the engine out so could this be a bad connection? would the light still behave if thats what it was.

Thanks

Are you sure it is the battery and not an alarm/immobiliser problem? What voltage does the battery test as?

not sure, I have had to go to work at the mo, dont think its the immobiliser tho, It tries but it either clicks or turns engine slow, brand new battery too, need to get a meter on it really after work.

When I put my GT40 in for MOT, the garage phoned me, and said there's good & bad news..

The car had gone straight through it's MOT... Good Times

Whilst moving the car out of the workshop, their junior boy had managed to pull my entire gearstick off, and I had to come down to repair it, and get it moved, as it was blocking their workshop forecourt... Bad Times
