ive had a turbo timer on mine since i got it. and never ever used it. I mean whats the point, as long as you poodle for the last 5 minutes and dont spool your tubs then you can "turbo time" it while your driving it.

ive had an Apexi turbo timer for about 3 years, and as said above, and above that :p its always best to lay off the boost near the end of your journey so as to avoid having to leave it to idle. however mine is set to 10 seconds regardless (i bump it up to 20 or 30 secs if ive done a longer journey). turbo timers also provide other information - the Apexi provides battery voltage, AFM reading and AF ratio. as far as the one in the advert, it says HKS-style, but doesnt really look like an HKS. if you still really want a turbo timer, id go for a decent one. beware that there are fake ones out there too :(

Remember you also need a harness to connect it. Tub timers are pretty cheap anyhow so you may as well by a half reasonable one.I've had an apexi one knocking around for a while but never bothered fitting it as I prefer to just slow down towards the end of the journey, that way you don't get heat soak like you might if you ragged it and then left it idling.

thanks for all the comments guys. I have decided not to bother with one i will just run off boost for the last few minutes of a drive.

i just bought the same one from ebay . got it home fitted it . works ok easy to wire up

if you set it to auto it will take 5 mins to cool sometimes so i set mine to 30 secs and also take it easy near the end of my journey..but yes there good. plus its a gadget and its fun when you walk away from it and its ticking over ..and people who have drooled over your car say hey mate your cars running and if you time it right you just say ;; ENGINE OFF and it stops ...amazing .. good fun lmao
