Cant we be sensible and wait a while - loads of places are underwater - the forecast is more rain... why organise something and have to cancel again.

We are in disscussion with the Z Club at the moment to come up with an alternative date, early Sept is looking good. As soon as we know, A thread will go up.

Are we not an independant club? I am always in favour of cooperating and collaborating with other clubs but OUR club needs a meet urgently to hold it's AGM etc. and it doesn't seem a very good idea to tie into another club's convenience, especially when they admit to dragging their feet (see previous post from Suzy). We seem to be getting tied to the ZClub's apron strings lately!

Why don't we go ahead and arrange our own meet and let the ZClub tag along if they want to.

a very good point there, well said!

to us bottom feeder subbed members it feels like 300zx.co.uk are the z club sheeps... dont get me wrong i have absolutely nothing against the zclub and all the members i have met from the club have been outstanding, it just seems recently we have to wait for them to move before we do anything... maybe we should try arranging something for ourselves and invite them along :)

post intended with as little negativity as possible, just a polite acknowledgement/query/question... type... thing... that looks really bad and anti committee like! :headvswal  :smw: :slap:

It WILL be shared with the Z Club this year, due to arrangments already being made for shared costs etc. this might have actually worked in our favour. because we might have some fine weather when we have it. Lets face it. from the photo's ive seen of JAE, it was very wet and waterlogged. I know those that went say that they had a great time, and they prob did. to me, the annual meet is about the cars, NOT getting pissed up in a small marquee. :o ;)

what in seven hells is the point of a meet when no fooker is going to go due to sheet weather.

calm down, chill out and wait a bit longer. its not that bloody important, well to me it isnt anyway. Let the guys organise it get on with it ffs.
