I'm starting to notice coloured Zeds with black roofs.

Like the Beet one, like Rainbows.

It's a good look, but what made you do it in first place as it could of looked terrible.

is you Zed original white? and what colour black is it?

It blends in well with all the trims. Think it would really suit a carbon bonnet also.

When i first bought my car I did the usual thing and would keep going and having a look at it. You know the that baby is mine syndrome I think we all get when we buy a new toy.

Anyway I would look down on her from my office window and think if those bars were black it would flow as though the whole roof was Glass. I was then taling to Luke "Zcentre" about it one day and he sent me some pictures of a car in the states.

Next week I did mine. That was 2000 and these days every time I see a Zed with the body coloured bars I think it looks odd.

I'll be doing it to my Red SWB as one of it's first mods.

Yep, soon as I get a dry sunny day will be doing mine too... If you llok at the Jag XJ220 it has a similar roof look... Plan to do mine gloss black and then lacquer the it so it gives the effect of wrap around glass.

Laquer over matt black looks more like glass.

Cheers Mark, thanks for that! Was wondering what would look more like the original glass. Want it to blend in to the targas nicely... ;)
