One of the guys in Texas I chat to on 32ZC has just fitted leather seat coverings from these guys.... http://www.leatherseats.com

Very good quality by the looks of things. You can order online and to your exact specification, plus order large sections of leather for trimming door cards, dash and whatever... very very good value too, site has all the pricings and everything you need, plus other options and gaitors etc.

Here's his seats fitted...

I'll probably be ordering from them towards the end of the summer! :hyper:

I still prefer the stuff from leatherseats. I do like yours Apache, looks great. But I'm really liking the double stitched edges of the leatherseats stuff.

No simon.

Certainly was NOT me. I've been wanting a leather retrim for nearly 2 years!!!

What I might have said that a lot of old standard leather Z seats are not great due to the leather going hard and shiney (after a decade and a half of sun/farts/spilt McDonalds etc) and due to that fact, takes the skin off your legs in summer and leaves you sliding around with little grip in the winter.

Although I don't ever think I have ever written the above on this forum...... it's just that's what you've got me thinking now! LOL

Anyway, back to the thread...Si, if you get into a dialogue with them would you mind asking if they will do custom stitching on the pre-existing 300zx covers? I would definately go for these seats if they do (ideally I'm looking for something a bit more Alfa-Romeo-esque ie more centre panel horizontal stitching detail).

i love leather i do its ace!!!!;)

PM sent :D

Also click on the "New Interior" link underneath the pic in my signature :D

Si - thankz for the compliment re: my interior. The quality is amazing and the smell of the leather is divine: and as it's an NA no sliding about due to silly speeds

Group bye Si! let me know if you are going to order and I may be up for doing it with you. Just got my Zed back and everything is pukka! the stalling now and again was just gunked up throttle bodies. I'm chuffed with my new Zed! The interior is immaculate but I'd like it to be leather.

Might call him up and ask. For me though, will be towards the end of the summer.

I E-mailed NipponAuto about 3 Weeks ago and aparently he has stopped doing the leather seat re-trims as he doesnt have time :(

yeah Ive got recaros in mine but i dont like them tbh

Offer still stands :D I'm more than happy to swap my full leather OEM ones for your OEM Recaro ones :D

And, BTW, mine are good quality UK black leather, complete with properly repaired drivers side bolster.

Yep me too Leigh. + I like the half moon pieces Stiched on the bolster.

Si have you seen these in the fleash, because if I'm not mistaken these are the same seat covers that Eggy (getGreddy) got for his car and i thought they looked a little plasticy in the fleash. Though they do look nice in the picture.

Yeah, the flat panels are okkaaay, but there's something distictly more classy (and classical, in the car sense?) about retro-look horizontal (or half-moon for that matter!) stitched panelling. Always makes me think of classic Alfa's! :)

Was looking at a red interior of a Alfa 156 yesterday and wondering if the seats wouls fit into a Zed. I love all the vertical perferated leather pannels that make contact with your arse and back.
