nearly finished the flatting off and managed to get the door handles flushed ( door handles only took 8 hours and arent finished yet ) so ive done for the day cos the missus is whingeing that i spend all day in the garage , even tho i offered to let her help , and ive got filler dust in every crevice lol so its the 3 Bs for me....... BATH , BEER , BED and i might even wash her tommorow lol

got both rear boxes for 60 quid its a bit loud on full chat but better than my old uns that blew apart lol gonna get new 1s when i have the cash and ive paid off the cost of the respray....cheers for the encouragement mate

That looks like one of those two minute jobs, that in reality takes days !!

cheers buddy your dead right it took about 8 hours and ive still not totally finished the drivers door

i was concerned with the handles cracking so i used an epoxy resin on the inside of the handles and then waxoyled them to keep any moisture out filled over the keyhole on the passenger door as it was fubar'd.....still its a bit different and i dont know if anyone else has done this

Much better than de-handling altogether - I've never liked the "no handle" doors as IMO they just do not look right........

I did this on the passenger door of my old calibra, was sucj a b*stard of a job I didn't bother doing the driver's side.

I get by, but really would like the knowledge on this they look really good, Im in the process of smoothing at the moment, got rid of the rear wiper, the swage line, the arial, the side indicators are on the way out but couldnt figure out what to do with the handles
