Hi all fellow Mids members

 

As a lot of you are aware, Jay was recently released form prison on licence having served part of his sentence.

The bad news is that on Friday evening around 5.30, he was recalled to prison under Home Office orders and we do not know the reason why.

He is currently in HMP Leicester and could be up to 6 weeks before he gets any real news as to why he has been recalled. I spoke with him this morning and he is as well as can be expected under the circumstance.

I know that you will support him as much as you can in your thoughts, but also know that he would appreciate a letter or two from people on here telling him what is going on in the world of the Zed.

If you do send him a letter, make sure that you put your address on top of the letter and also on the envelope, otherwise he will not receive them, also please include a stamped, addressed envelope so that he can reply to you.

At the moment both myself and Charli, his girfriend, are still in a state of shock over what has happened, and as of yet have not decided whether or not to attend Silverstone next week.

I ask you for your support over this and hopefully it will resolve itself.

agree with above. what they have done is bang out of order. they need a very good reason for it. im sure it will get sorted but in the meantime, pass my regards to jay & tell him to keep his pecker up. ;)

We will be trying to get more info tomorrow from his probation officer, whe he returns from the bank holiday. The best about is that they will not tell me anything and i am down as next of kin, once again thanks for all your comments

Just a quick update, had a letter from Jay yesterday and he is coping ok depsite the circumstances. He still doesn't know why he has been recalled, which is bugging him a lot. Charli and myself have got a visiting order and we are going to see him on Monday afternoon, if you have any messages you would like us to pass on, please let us know and we will tell him.

I can't say this enough, the support that you guys and gals have been giving me, Charli and Jay is tremendouse and from the bottom of our hearts we thank you, it is keeping us going, knowing that we have so many friend out there that care.

Further to the above, still no further information on what is going on, the authorities are taking their time in sorting things out. Have spoken to his solicitor and at last they have got some paperwork, but I do not know what is in the dossier. Have spoken to Jay today, he is pretty well considering, but is getting a bit stressed as he is only receiving letters from Charli and myself, I know you are all busy, but if you could find a space in there somewhere just to drop him a line, it would be appreciated.
