Would be nice to speak to some of those who used to talk to him, both now and from now on, it's a bit lonely out there now, he was about the only one I talked to on it, keep expecting him to sign in..............

 What a complete shock this is. My deepest condolances to all his family and friends. I cant imagine what you are going through.

I have texts and pms barely a few days old, and i've talked to him regularly recently on the phone. I was even due to go and see him in the next few days to get some car bits.

Such a great guy, a very very sad loss.

Rest In Peace.

Terrible news, never spoke to the guy but read many of his threads and he seemed a decent and genuine bloke....RIP and my condolences to his family...hope they get through this diffucult time

I'm off now guys, and no there is no news, I doubt there will be until a lot later in the week, it's been spinning my head out thinking about what may have happened, why it happened, and trying to come to terms with it. I spoke to his mother today, she is doing as well as can be expected, I feel a little bad as I was trying to be strong for them when I saw them and help them out, but I just ended up getting upset as well! I'm out of the country until Friday now, going to try and get some sleep, have to be up early in the morning.

I think things will go a bit quiet over the days I am off anyway, his family needs time, as do his friends. But rather than question what happened and why, it's best to think back to the good times that were had with him. I know for sure I will never forget him, he will always be with me in my thoughts, heart and mind, and I hope that when my number is up, he will be there waiting, with a cold beer in his hand and a big smile on his face.

I read about this last night on another site. I never met him, although obviously I've read his posts on here, but I'm really sorry to hear it. A good mate of mine died at 51 a couple of weeks back and I thought that was bad enough, but 27 is absolutely no age to die. He had his whole life ahead of him. A shocking and tragic loss is all I can say.

This is truely shocking news, im sure i remember jay from the old forum and the late night msn banter.

RIP Jay, best wishes to those left behind.
