i am looking to get there as early as poss to avoid queues so a nice early start i think :)

 

i am meeting the midlands crew at junction 15a services of the m1 (northbound) at 7:30am :shock:

I might be wrong but i though you could still go but the tickets are full price and to be paid at the venue with no track time if you didnt prebook?

I live at J13 of the M1 so only have to shoot up to J15a but if i could somehow get on the motorway as you passed underneath then im all up for it :rofl: :rofl:

7:30 eeeek ! In the morning ?

I'm up for it. Where and when are we going to meet?

 

Could meet at a couple of places. Perhaps start at South Mimms and then onto Toddington services and go on from there.

 

From what I can see we have to be there by 11:30 at the latest because that is when the briefing is.

 

According to the directions on Multimap it takes around 1hr 10mins from South Mimms so would need to meet there around 8ish to allow an hour or so for ques etc.

 

It takes around 30 mins to get to toddington so would meet people there around 8:30.

 

What do you think guys. Lets have some names of where and when.

Im up for that, I know viniboy is down the road from me so he might be up for that too. Its a little out of my way to drive down to south mimms and then back up past my house :rofl:

but they want all the zeds parked up by 9:40 ish to open the gates to the public so they are on display...

 

im sure the queues would be enormous for this event so id rather get there as early as poss to be 100% sure that i get on the parade, been waiting some time for this event ;) but i understand it might be a little too early for some of you lot :p

if any1 is up for it i would suggest meeting at south mimms services @ 7:45am ready to leave @ 8 to convoy up the m1. any1 up for this? otherwise il shoot cross country along the a507 route!

imho this is way tolate as you will get snarled up in the queues

and as for arriving just before 11 oclock briefing not sure if they will alow you in at that time with the public walking about

It was only a starting point so times are flexable.

 

If we know what time to get there we can work backwards.

Myself and other Z Club members have queued for OVER 2 hours to get in to various Trax events. Leaving the M1 at 8.00am to turn on to the A43 and only made it to the club area by 10.30. Some members actually gave up and went home after being removed from the outside lane of the dual carriageway by the police..

Things may be different now. Last one I went to was Trax 2004 I think. But there is STILl only one narrow lane entrance to Silverstone from the A43.

had a pm from skyline dave from the midlands crew, they are leaving m1 j15a at 7:30 to head down the a43...
