Does anyone else have the problem that the fuel pump on the forecourt keeps tripping out no matter what angle it's at or how gently you squeeze the trigger. It's just taken me about twenty minutes to fill it up and my last Z was the same. Is this normal??.

noticed this with each girl i sleep with, however my zed is fine!!!!!

every time i enter my zed she comes rather quick by the time she is warmed up she is hot to trot and smells like burning rubber...... why cant our missis be like that?????

especially the rubber bit!!

Just wandered if this is a jap import thing ,do uk cars have the same problem maybe its to do with jap petrol pumps ie diffrent fuel filler necks.

If you look down inside the filler pipe there is a little plate welded in the top of the pipe. If you put the nozzle of the pump in normally it rests up against this plate and the back pressure this casuses is what trips the pump out. By turning the nozzle at an angle you miss this plate, it goes further into the filler and doesn't trip the pump every 5 seconds.

BTW if you want to see the plate please don't use a lighter or match to do it (Ha, Ha!)
