i now they have seen better days, but why are my seats different to others, is there anyone else with seats that has the leather like mine

thats just the passenger side, the strips in the midle of them aint cracks, they are folds in the leather, and they are stitched along the middles, everyone elses are smooth

It looks as though it has been tweed originally, then re-upholstered into leather.

 

Whoever has re-upholstered it has copied the seams in the fabric ones?

 

Or I am talking Absoloute MINCE again.............

yeah but when they were new they might have looked the part in the 90's like the bloody shag pile floor mats lol!!

my zed was UK and the looked the same as all other zed seats, yours may have been retrimed

Looks the same as my 93 UK which was reupholstered by the dealer before I bought it. A few UKs were produced with cloth seats..

anyway when you have an exterior that looks like mine it doesnt matter what it looks like inside

Stellaz...Think they've retrimmed the centres at some point. Mines a 92' Uk model with 150k on the clock and my trim is near perfect bar the bolster wear on the drivers side......

 

Time for a retrim?!
