At the end of the year i will be replacing my turbos,what else should i do? i was thinking of rebuilding engine but the mileage from new is 66k would it be worth it or just spending money unwisely!!

knock sensor! new oil feeds and all water pipes. egr removal. timing belt change, 555 injectors, paint your rocker covers, reomve hicas solenoid and piping, new EFI wring loom!

aka det sensor! it senses detonation in your engine and will put you in safety mode if it senses it :)

Isn't it the loom that fails rather than the sensor? It's the contacts that corrode and the small bit of loom that degrates. You can buy the loom which is about £30 iirc.

turbo techics mate and go 360degree thrust bearing on standard turbo

 

or you could go larger housing, or use a true t28 but you will then need to get matching downpipe elbows

 

dont use midland turbo as a warning IMHO

I used http://www.turbodynamics.co.uk for mine. They were custom made in July 06’. Fitted with 360 degree thrust bearings, larger turbine wheels, larger compressor wheels, re-profile housings & uprated actuators. Just need the bigger injectors now to get more power ;)

Smithy always has some good deals on turbo's.

Don't put stock ones back on when you can get much bigger ones for almost the same money.
