A few years ago I knew a guy that fitted a brand new one on his R32 Skipline it cost him just short of 7k. The car was not even throwing 500bhp out and the box lasted 700 miles.

the HKS box is well known for being weak, hence why the skylark boys steer clear of them as well ;)

Just get p'd off evertime I think of the fact my feet nearly got sawn off by a flywheel because he only put 1/2 the bolts on it :mac1:

I think the Dragon Rx7 is running a HKS gearbox and thats estimated at close to 1000bhp now (in one of the mags this month). He's done a 9.1 qtr mile.
