just fitted a series 2 ptu (cheerz wozzer) to isolate a misfire, 5 cylinder fault and took it for a quick blast up the road and back... only to find... coolant leaking onto the drive and a trail of coolant up the road! :headvswal

i looked under the car to no avail... dry as a bone! the coolant was cold on the drive so i assume it leaked when i left it idling on the drive and stopped when i took it for a blast!

guess iv got another fault to trace 2moro! :(

Sounds like the same probs I had when I bought Cona2k's Z. Took it to Protech who tried to tell me it was air con condensation when they couldn't find the leak, but I wasn't having any of that! They eventually traced it to a tiny split in one of the two stubby matrix pipes.

The misfire I thought was cured after cleaning and tightening the coil packs, but came back after they rumaged in the wiring loom across the bulk head to do the matrix pipes. Bottom line is I was at a loss to what caused the misfire, they didn't know either, but I eventually found it when I pushed that big wiring loom around a bit, and that cured it! (and Paul if you read this I went to Protech because they had already ordered the pipes, but I'll see you next time) :)

Same Happened to me when my matrix went

the water coming out was cold as it was leaking into the chassis and pooling there

sounds like rad cap leaking....when you pull up and stop the pressure builds the thing leaks and water then runs down the rad neck and pools up in the undertray (guessing you still have on fitted)...eventually it drops onto the floor at that point its usually cold
