Just off to look at a new toy i fancy for the collection shes 750hp.. unfortunatly it doesnt have wheels lol

its has 2 375hp Cat engines .. looks awsome n goes like the clappers .. (well for marine use she does)

just awaiting a call from the guy doing the hull inspection then im off to look see for myself

A Sunseeker :dance: looks like an early portofino? you lucky fooker. Must be diesel if its got the caterpillars, 40knots? Those or a Scarab are the ones to have, always said if i got another boat it would be a sports cruiser other than a ski boat and it would be one or the other of those makes, just need 6 numbers to come up first lol. At least the Sunseeker is British think they are built in Poole. They gotta do a survey on it? Good luck john hope you get it.

I get pissed off at putting £200 in my boat for the day and another £100 in the Z to get to the coast and back! :shock: LOL

 

Always fancied cruising round the med but the fuel costs are crazy for a week or 2.

that one was a no go .. boat was absolutly stunning .. fit out was superb .. took her out for a test and at 3000RPM had a bit of a noise coming from 1 of the gearbox's then it started jumping in and out of gear at higher RPM .. so shoved in a bid a lot lower .. just gotta wait n see now if he bites at the offer

Carl .. its a Travado 40 earlier model of the portofino and about 50k cheaper too lol.. survey went great, just a shame about the gearbox or what ever is causing the prob .. wasnt going to trust the marina mechanic as all the want is a sale .. lets hope he accepts the offer i put in, yes it is diesel btw, lets just hope the govnt tell the EU to piss off about banning red diesel for pleasure boats.. or it will be just over double the price to fill it up .. not fun when the fuel tank holds 800 litres :cry:

you must have the V8's in it? Whats wrong with the gear box, did the guy say? Think i would leave it alone if you got gearbox problems especially if it has the Twin Disc gearboxes they got hydraulic clutches, and work on oil pressure and if the pump in the gearbox has gone it gonna cost mega£££££'s
