that is absolutely fookin sickening tbh! gut wrenching to see that... not fussed that hes making a tidy profit from it but just to see the car that i was so attached to again has given me gut ache :(

id like to see how well they have gashed the sill repair, i bet its still rotten on the inside! and no mention of new turbos so i guess a large quanity of wynns stop smoke would have worked after all!

im sad now... :(

if any1 on here is considering buying it, contact me as i know everything about it ;)

thanks for pointing it out richard... and making me sad :( :p

..............thanks for pointing it out richard... and making me sad :( :p

Sorry mate :(

I didn't know what you sold it for......

.....but I do remember your comments about the rotten sills and dodgy turbos!

That's a fair chunk of cash to ask for a car if he hasn't resolved those issues

Still, you have a much better ZX now; I just hope some poor unsuspecting chappie doesn't pay the premium price only to end up here asking how to fix it.......

Richard :)

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Somebody should go round there and test drive it to see what has been done. If nothing, hopefully if we post up a warning @"do not buy this car for this much "it may stop some poor fool getting ripped off.

Sorry mate :(

i sold it coz of the money it was goin to cost me to go it to a similar state of my new 1... and even then it has 120k, my new 1 has 60k... i cant tell from the picture whether the sill has been repaired, but if it has i put money on it that it was just rubbed down, filled and painted, not chopped out welded etc etc. so it wont be long b4 that rust pokes its crumbly eyes back through! and yes, it also needed new tubs.

What suspension setup did you have on that Joel?

stock shocks (which i think needed replacing :)) and chassis dynamics springs. the handling wasnt too bad but the ride was awful, avoid matey :) not sure if they were progressive springs or not. il go for the eibach kyb combo on my new 1.

oh and if you like the way it sits from my sig pic, its not real ;) the wheels on my grey 1 in the sig pic have been blown up a touch with photoshop... id say in real life they would be somewhere between 19/20". though it did still look nice in real life!

Cheers. Just in the advert, it looked a lovely ride height. Ideally I want H&R springs, but they are special order only from Germany and are about £500!
