hi all :) this is my first thread and i want to say what a cracking sie it is,ive owned my series 2 j-spec lwb tt for about 6 month now and its the best car i have ever owned the other day when cleaning the interior i had the carpet up and noticed spl computer brain central 20 team racing on the ecu could anybody enlighten me on if this is the standard ecu or an upgraded one,once again can i say what an exellent site this is and thanks for any replys in advance :cool:

i got a spl central 20 ecu ...its an upgraded ecu , has better fuel maps, raised boost limt etc

Just beware of Detonation/Pinking...as a Japanese Developed ECU it will be setup for higher octane fuel than we get in the UK. Be sure to always use V-power or similar high-octane fuel.

Don't have any info on it, but just thought i'd say that i've got a Central 20 Racing ECU too.

thanks for the replys as it goes i only ever put v power in the car for fear of doing some serious damage to it and would hate to shell out for a rebuild :)

forgot to mention what will be the best way to find out if the boost has been increased or not,it is using the standard boost guage.any help would be great as i really wouldnt know where to start :D

how far to the right does the gauge go when you boot it,iff it hits the right hand side pin its pulling about 14psi

not really sure znut but i know it goes past the +7 if thats any use to you
