Is it possible to: install cruise control to a non-cruise model?

Anythings possible...its just the amount of work involved....the most problematic part would be the wiring, that goes from the Cruise control ECU, to the engine bay and to the Interior (Pod, Steering wheel, Speedo, Brake switch)

I took mine off so if you need it, let me know.

But engine wise, the crusie solenoid and cable, takes about 10 mins to fit, then comes the complicated part, the wiring in! knowing nissan though i would hazard a guess as it's part of other looms, it may already be there but not plugged in? am only guessing tbh but someone who has it just needs to identify the wiring behind sterring coloum and you see if you have the same.

I'd do it for yer, only me Zed is in Leicester for another 16 days....

so i would need... a cruise control, control unit - the actuator that mounts on the throttle cable under the bonnet - wiring looms - and the pod buttons...

that about everything or is there differences in the main ecu? is the brake pedal switch different for a cruise to a no cruise or does the brake pedal switch feed the cruise control control unit with the cruise control loom :wack:

did that make any sense lol

cheerZ dude i think i will have that stuff off ya... havent confirmed the purchase of the car yet as i had cruise control as one of my musts.. but with the rest of the car being mint i will prolly go for it, il let u know!

Wiring isn't there unforts - there's a relay in the main relay box and there is no socket/wiring present so would be a nightmare to retro fit...
