MG is in good working order, engine to gearbox is new all that she was involved in a shunt but I replaced the front end with original parts,

 

all she needs doing is:

 

New grill

New Hood

New Exhaust (well i want one)

Carpets fitted (I have these)

 

paint is good but a pureist will redo it or at least get it compound polished,

 

Mechanically all she needs is a new near side break drum (rear) and off side sill work, o and a new speedo cable,

 

I keep meaning to get it all done, I've spent about 4-5k on her trying to get her looking good and just have those things left on my list,

 

 

they are lovely cars though, not very practicle but she is my baby, Im going to go out for a spin tomorrow i think

 

Gio, lovely arnt they, 1967 is a good year as well, first year with 1275 a-series, rarer than a Manual UK zed (and thats saying something)

Astra GTE Mk1 A reg cost £1000 Couldnt insure it (£1800) so had to sell it.

Mini 1275GT T reg £500 3 engines in as many weeks i think they saw me comming!!

Metro MG Turbo B reg £695 (£1000 insurance) Reversed it into a wall, blew the turbo and gearbox sold it £175 to a bloke who got parking tickets and did drive offs landing me in court!

1994 Astra 1300 GL B reg (£1000) Drve like an irrisponsibe child for a year then wrote it off in a big head on crash ( Sorry i was a boy racer)

1995 Got banned for two years two months (two counts of dangerous driving, two counts of careless and inconsiderate driving, failing to stop at the scene of an accident, failing to report.) I also recieved 100 hours community service and 12 months probation fines totalling £3000

 

1997 Got licence back took written test and extended retest ( 1 hour 10 mins) and only five minor faults and having learnt my lesson bought a 1.2 nova J reg (£2400) and paid a whopping £1380 to insure TPFT

 

2000 Astra GTE Cabriolet G reg (£2000)

 

Mar 2002 300 ZX TT F reg (£4000) Which is now broken.

 

Currently im driving a Cavalier SRI J reg (£nothing) which i have borrowed from a mate.
