Flappy paddles

ive just seen an auto z j spec at my mates garage it has got paddle gear change anyone know anything about these ? the owner bought it with them on, they seem like a good idea !

    shift at will maybe? did it have an auto shifter?

    yes there was a shifter and a lot of wires hanging about around the steering wheel , a bit messy really
