Still looks a good deal.

You also have to consider the fact they come from hong kong.

 

You could end up paying import tax at 17.5% plus the handling fee at the depot.

 

You won't be able to return them if they don't work either.

 

I hav been stung with stuff off ebay from hong kong before so I try to avoid it these days and pay the extra from UK sellers.

 

You can still get a bargain as my HIDS were only £100 with free delivery.

 

Arrived fine with wiring harness and destructions.

 

Keep looking and you will eventually get what you want. Its a bit like that elusive mint Z that we look for in the first place.

Just to let you know, I have worked with this seller about 4 months ago to try and become a UK based reseller of the kits he advertises. I received a sample kit and was absolutely appalled by the dreadful quality. Not so much the ballast or the bulbs but the connectors. Very cheap plastic was used and the rubber inserts (to make the connection water tight) were torn. Needless to say I chose not to pursue this business.

 

Fast forward to this week. You know that I already sell top of the range HID kits. These kits are far superior in their build quality and operation to any other kits I've had the pleasure of testing. This is of course reflected in the price as the best quality does not come cheap!

 

However, I [DTA UK] will be launching a brand new HID conversion kit at the beginning of April which will carry a RRP of under £100 per kit (delivered)! This is a kit which I am putting together (as we speak) with good quality components sourced from various manufacturers. The kit will carry a 1 year (UK) warranty (both ballast and bulbs) and will be available in H1, H3©, H4, H7, etc fitments. I am testing the final kit this weekend and will then be in a position to commence with the launch as planned on April 2nd so stay tuned!

Danny, may sound like a stupid question buut i have a Jap importr and IRRC i need a H3 bulb, what are the other bulbs for? side lights? fog lights? uk spec? all of the above.

The Zed uses H3/H3c Dipped beam and H1 main beam.

 

H1, H4, H7..etc do not apply to the 300zx (Danny sells kits for all makes & models).
