I'd quite fancy a CL500.

You can get a 2001 one for under £20K.

Not cheap but not insanely expensive.

There's something about those that just doesn't look right to me. Curves in the wrong place, nose heavy, dunno what, just ugly I think ...

It's the photo, the angle, the colour. It just looks nice at that angle I think.

I parked my Zed next to one and the Merc made the Nissan look like a nasty, cheap, little toy.

 

They arew huge and have real presence. And a 5 litre V8.

 

 

I'm not a fan of the SL55's looks - but I'd have one for the performance.

One of the pikeys??????!!!!! I love the Zondas. IMO its the way supercars should be going, like the Maclaren as well. They should be as lightweight as possible and small, proper racing cars. Not huge great heavy things as some of them are getting to be.

One of these followed me off the motorway the other day and they look so menacing. Have that nice shark nose appearance to it like the glorious old 635CSi.

 

These are two cars where BMW actually managed to make look stunning. Their new stuff though....I have little time for appearance-wise.

 

I looked at buying an 840 before deciding on a Z. Was one of my top 3 choices. But all the ones that were in my price range were high mileage/tatty autos.
