Can someone get me a cup of sweet tea and a hot towel?

:p :D ;)

I know mate, no worries, didn't take it like that. But I'd be disappointed if you didn't find at least something you didn't like about it (at least I know you're going to really hate the rear lights! :D ;)) Still keeping fingers (and toes!) crossed for this summer!

Dave: haven't looked at those photo's of Eliza for ages. Forgot how nice the colour was!

Shock? I've told you before....don't you remember the thread I started?? :)

Lol! Yeah, I do mate, just pulling your leg ;) Though...it could still be a cunning diversionary tactic and is in fact the calm before the storm so to speak...:D ;)

Must say I do like the 99spec with top mounted UK plate. If I got one of those fitted (assuming it didnt have one to start with) would I have to tell the insurance company and class it as a mod?

Hehe sorry fella, i'll do the real thing soon then i won't have to keep photoshopping people's cars :hyper:  lol

I'm not a fan of aftermarket bumpers on the ZX so I agree the stock item looks good - left the way of Gio's car per his last pic. Plus on a light coloured ZX, the original bumper does indeed make the car look lower........

However the 99 spec is a genuine Nissan part and IMO the only good looking alternative to the original one (again I'm not biased there ;) ). It enhances and (depending on colour) updates the look a little, without spoiling the classic lines.

I had the same dilema after a minor accident back in 2004. I chose to fit the 99 spec front in the end, mainly down to it looking better in profile than the stock one - the original bumper has a bit of an "overbite" thing on the side view ;).

Richard :smw:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

yeah 99 all the way ........

but Twin's front bumper is the one for me .....!!!!!!!!

will look like this ......( i hope )

..

bunny, what tool in photoshop do you use for complete colour changes like that and is it easy?

You select the paintwork of the car using the polygonal lassoo tool then copy and paste that to a new layer.

Then use the edit > image > hue/saturation

and drag the hue across or click colourise the completely emphasise the colour on the paintwork

with this it was quick and dirty so just tweeked the hue on the main picture hence the mad trees lol

You shouldn't have mentioned the trees lol, I hadn't noticed them!

That 99 spec front end looks awesome in purple tho!

my 99 spec ......
