Body shop have advised they cant fit the 99 spec front to my 92 import. The mount does not line up at all with the new bumper and they have had to order new mount from nissan after discussing it with them. Anyone come across this problem before? I always thought it was straight replacement.

mine fitted fine, the only mods needed were to the intercooler ducts

I think there are two types of bumper support bars. There's the single peice and the twin peice. I can't find any photos at the moment, but I've seen some Zs with 2 small bumper bars. Basically two brackets that bolt to the same location and the main bumper bar.

i fitted mine myself to a 92 car,no probs whatsoever,

sure the bodyshop aint at it? and is it a genuine 99spec bumper?

Paul.

I've fitted 3 of 'em without any trouble (except some cutting around the IC ducts as Paul mentioned above)

Thanks all, sounds like the twin bracket is needed as thats whats been ordered by the sound of things. I'll mention the intercooler ducts but sounded like bracket was the real issue.

Didn't jaffa and smw1 have to do some cutting to get theirs to fit, was it the fibreglass section?
