what do you think?

The centres still have to be polished and the bore needs enlarging to sit back by 10mm but you get a good idea what they'll look like.

Do you still think go for polished centres or go for black?

Deffo NOT black. The spokes have a lovely shape to them. You'll loose deffinition painting them black.

Deffo either silver or polished. Or get them chrome plated (zero maintenence).

Look very nice. Speedline Alessios aren't they?

....looks like you need a new perspex strip mate. Yours has gone purple. Then of course a sexy set of 99-spec rears. ;)

Speedline Type 2310 SC, very similar only the allesio has the centre that comes out to the rims.

Lovely wheels, i guess if i'm going to go for it i might as well go the whole hog and have them polished as well :D lol

The strip isn't actually perspex, the spakka who sprayed it welded a piece of metal in the filled it and sprayed it black, looks shite i can tell you :(

I'm just getting a new bootlid and having it either done properly or getting a viper rear spoiler and the 99 spec front end fitted.

I'll wait till the wheels are on then make my mind up.

either hipower silver or even gunmetal, not polished though IMO

erm... polish your shoes

and the wheels!

As in 2 peice wheels?

I like the viper spoiler, but reckon you should go 99-spec rear spoiler. Still kinda rare and since yours is midnight purple, will look like a genuine 99-spec....?

sorry to jump in but where can i get the 99 rear spoiler? and how much, i would also like the 99 front bumper.

99-spec rear spoiler is about £1,600 from Nissan. But there's a chap out in California who makes replica versions. Either in fibre glass or carbon fibre.

I was over in San Diego last year and met up with him. I bought a carbon fibre one from him. I paid about £220 for it (I think), mailed it back to myself for about $60...(£30) and paid about £60 worth of duty on it. So that equates to around £320 all in.

99-spec front bumpers from Zcentre are about £250 iirc.

Very nice thought the colour is, it's not midnight purple.

Midnight purple is much darker.

As luck would have it! zcentre have JUST started selling these. Chris@GetGreddy used to sell them, but since his great disappearing act of 2006, it's been and 'order them directly from overseas' affair. Which can be a paint in the ass.

Anyway, http://www.zcentre.co.uk and check out new products. Only selling the fibreglass one (which is cheap as chips @ only £160!!), not the carbon fibre version that I have.

Oh right, sorry, was unaware of the various different purples. I've never actually seen a purple Z in the flesh.

nice rims dude, look like they mean busines.

the only thing i would do though is change the colour of the centre cap as it clashes with you bodywork. As for the colour, don't go for black, go for silver, gunmetal, maybe chrome or maybe a dull gold might work with purple not sue though. Gold wheels can be stunning or a complete disaster.

By the way why don't you try colour coding that red reflector if you are keeping the rear bumper, it will clean up the lines. Did it on mine and it makes a lot of difference.

Funny you should mention that, i have some stunning 3d centre caps i spotted in Slick Pete's shed to go on it. Black background with a glossy gold text:

I must admit i was going to get the clear rear reflector unit and fit silver tipped amber lights and turn then into repeaters as a rather unique feature but tinting them body coloured could be an interesting idea.

Craig David's right, its a none standard colour. One in the zclub is a slightly pinker version of mine, the colour of mine was one of the main reasons i bought it in the first place :D

It's actually more of a cadbury's dairy milk purple than 99 spec midnight purple, it's got silver/red/blue flakes in the paint. Looks cool in the sun:
