I found myself watching...Big Brother of all things last night. I absolutely detest the program more than almost anything else on TV and go out of my way to avoid watching stuff like this. But, a combination of boredom, nothing else to watch and feeling ill still, I sub-consciously turned over and sat there watching it for 10 minutes without realising exactly what I was doing.

 

What I did notice though, is what a vile cretinus family she is a member of. Her mother looks like she's ill with a terminal disease. Her voice wants removing and placing in a Kenwood blender. 'Jade, Jake and 'Jackie?(Mum?) Christ, even all the names have the first letters! Like a family of supermarket workers. Her and her mother are the epitomey of female 'white-trash'. Saw the bit about her going on about her Grandad Farting at the dinner table…I mean…WTF? I think her Mother is worse and more vile than she is.

 

How has this woman made it big?? I don't understand.

Well it seems like she can influence indians to run around wailing in the streets burning voodoo dolls, but then again they dont need much encouragement to start doing that LOL.

 

I think that was a minor protest, to call an end to Big Brother! I THINK they were trying to make people aware of the bullying/ racism :wack: that is going on on the channel4 programme.

I watched the first couple of progs to watch them squirm a bit .( I was on the beer . ) When I decided to try a few days off the drink I couldn`t touch the thing with a bargepole . I guess my embarrassment level is too low to witness that kind of rubbish when I`m sober . I`m ashamed I even watched any of that stuff that panders to the lowest common denominator .

Yes , " Jade " has done well out of the first one , but at what cost to broadcasting standards ? It`s the bandwagon effect that Carl talked about . It doesn`t represent the I.Q. of the average viewer .

I remember when the first House/garden makeover shows were made . I was actually amazed at how blatantly they were copied . Then , soon after , every time one channel had an idea that worked , the others shamelessly adapted them ( ie new title same format ) . Antique shows drive me mad...every time I want to watch the BBC Lunchtime News I have to try to avoid the end of " Cash in the Fookin Attic " . EVERY Fookin` weekday ffs !

However , it`s obvious I`m cool about it , just thought I`d mention a few things .

GET OFF THE BANWAGON AND DO SOME ORIGINAL THINKING AND STOP TREATING US ALL LIKE MORONS , YOU DICKS !

i've changed my mind , jade is a thick tw@t and her, the scouse bird and miserable cow from sclub are all finished when they get out.

the media are moaning its all racist, i'm not convinced, its just thick birds bitching like thick birds do, you see it in any pub on any weekend.

However when scouse bird said" she should just fook off home", i thought at the time she meant 'out of the house' back to her appartment or whatever in the uk, only when BB had her in the diary room asking her what she meant did it become obvious that she meant back to india.. stupid stupid cow, and she was supposed to be miss uk? FFS.

Another point on the racism/bullying point.. if it was jade who was on the receiving end of all this flack... would there be the media frenzy about it? would people be in the streets moaning about racism and bullying? no.. infact i think it would be the media leading the way in slagging her much liek they did last time she came out.

Didnt one of the papers giver her the title of miss piggy? I hate the media in this country its so hypocritical, one minute they are moaning how its soooo wrong to bully peoiple, yet they have no problem with slaggin people, deserved or not.

The other day on GMTV they were moaning about the press harrassing prince Willimas bird, szaying how awful it was, then in the next sentence they said, " lets join Richard tw@tface who is outside her place of work... " jesus christ talk of double standards

 

The bb producers must be loving all this publicity, the ratings were down everyone thought it was shyte, and then bang its the most talked about thing on tv.

i like the way all the sponsors are threatening to pull out... yeah right......as if they will once they see the viewing figures are through the roof, they are just trying to make out that they are disgusted by it, to be seen to be doing the right thing, theres no way they will pull out.

It's down to the sad state this country is in, that thick talentless loudmouths who belong in a zoo, can actually sign up to take part in what is little more than a zoo for (and I use the term losely) humans and emerge rich and famous for it!!!??

 

Reality TV has made it far too easy for low-lives to with no real talent to "make it" whilst the sub-intelligent masses lap it up like the salivating dogs they are. There are many performers with real talent who are still struggling to succeed.
