all you need now is a big brake kit to set the car off nicely

its colourworks violet purple over a black base coat.looks a blue/purple in normal light that flips jade/gold in the sun.big brakes are next following a full cream leather retrim...note to self,better start doing more overtime

I would budget for £1500 plus if you are thinking of a colour change.

yep cost me £1600 but thats only cus i know him.for that he repaired front bumper which had big hole n cracked due to somone running into it on xmas eve :mad: .all body kit removed fiberglassed sandered and Properly bondered to car.car fully prepped/primed.sprayed black then full respray including door sills under bonnet,engine ect...

For a complete colour change at non-mate's rates (door shuts, tailgate etc) I'd budget at over double that and then some for engine out and complete engine bay job. £1500 is blow over money.

I paid £2700 for a colour change that didn't include the engine bay - that was ANOTHER £1k !!

 

Mind you it was Bayside Blue and Nissan charged a cool £1k just for the paint !!!

Just to add my bit on prices of resprays. My car is being done at the moment which is the 3rd respray I've had done. I've always been under the impresspion that a good respray costs £12-1500 which includes everything. I've been up the bodyshop who's doing my car nearly everyday to check progress and I have seen how many man hours have been put in to get all panels right and the amount of prep work involved. I've got to agree with FunkySi and say that £1500 is blow over money, you have to ask how many working hours can be put in for £1500 (unlesss you get mates rates possibly ;) ).
