No, not really. It just bores the living daylights out of me, the whole thing. Over indulgent cheesy pagan festival for the money Gods.

 

Sure, you get some time off and chance to go out with mates, but I do that mostly in the summer when the weather's nice.

dont you remeber all the fun you had when you was a kid playing in the snow making snow angles ,

 

throwing snowballs

seeing xmas decorations light up a room ,

coming in the lounge christmas morning seeing the presents under the tree

 

and opening the lot . then getting told off from your parents for not checking the labels !!

 

i remember it all , now its all a blur chin up bud !

We've not had decent snow here for years. Yeah course I liked christmas when I was a Kid.... just does absolutely nothing for me now other than annoy me.

ok im 32 and still enjoy doing snow angles when it snows again ,, life is out there go out and grab it !! life is wierd one min your down the next your up , spread the wealth and the happiness , im sure in your heart you still hold a flicker for xmas bud , either way you still make me laugh , in a good way !!!

I'm not as miserable as I appear on here...those that know me know I'm a little bit crazy and wierd. :)

 

I find happiness in other thinks. Find xmas really fake and forced, that's all.

do see where your coming from , im well aware its not a law to enjoy xmas , and the first thing everybody says its christmas cheer up i know ! but just enjoy seeing family and friends and having fun , soon all the madness of people buying enough food to last a nuclear fall out " when xmas is only for a week" and spending around 2k a household for one 2 week holiday at home on presents etc etc will seem a blur , not saying your miserable im sure ive spoke to you in the past , all the best paul ps merry happy holiday!!
