Well I've got a few things that need doing/finishing over the winter before next years show season.

 

These include, and in no particular order......

 

1) Rear crankshaft oil seal replacement.

2) Change autobox fluid.

3) Replace left hand O2 sensor

4) Replace left hand Cat over temp sensor.

5) Sort rear steer problem?!

6) Move autobox oil cooler.

7) Fix drooping front bumper lip.

8) Minor remedial trim repairs for the interior. :smash:

 

I think that should just about sort it all out, should even run better after that. Should be in time for the ZClubs France/24 Hour La Mans trip next June!

 

So what's other peeps sorting over the winter??

Things To Do Over The Winter...

 

1, Skiing

2, Snowboarding

3, Sledging

4, Snowball fights

5, Make Snowmen

1: Finish building the car back up. Not much to do, just waiting on some new trim/fasteners etc.

 

2: MT90 in the gearbox

 

3: Sort the tracking out

 

4: Put some sound deadening in the doors and replace the door speakers.

 

5: Instal amp and buy new sub.

 

That's about it really.

1. Heater for the garage (shoulda done all this work in the Summer)

2. SBC-ID Powermeter Install

3. Digital controller for traction control

4. 350Z rear caliper install

5. Make alarm full closure by connecting up window motors

6. Get front bumper scratch repainted

7. Get sill rust fixed

8. Install new Porterfield pads

9. Get adjustable front tenson rods fitted

10. Get a/c regassed

11. Change oil & install magnetic sump plug

& some decent tyres

Erm, try and build one from bits :confused: :rofl: Hopefully it will be back for show season next year - even bigger and better if I can afford to replace the injectors and clutch ;)

ChrisC, AndyP and andyduff (no dissrespect Si) three members that were here well before I was, that I followed (no, don't read stalked into that) before I became a member (back in the days before you had to register) All this thread needs now is MAC 1 and it would be the original quartet of the big guns from the start :bow: :bow: This threads not worthy!!!!!

I had a year when I hardly posted but I'm kind of hooked again as I'm not working.

 

There's a reason not many of us are still here and that's there's not many stupid enough to stick with rebuilding these bloody cars :rofl:

LOL - some people are easily pleased ! ;)

1 - Finish wheels (sending them off to a professional metal polishers next week)

2 - Restore leather (it's gone a bit hard and needs a soak)

3 - Buy a grounding kit and fit it

4 - Change front + back disks/pads

5 - Sub & Amp install

turn my stripped out damaged repaired SWB slicktop shell in to a 300ZX again.

Problably finish that Boxing day afternoon :rolleyes:

Seems that my caliper install isn't as simple as I'd first hoped - could be a job for Spring, by the time I get around to it ...

Get me new bonnet all sorted out with the usual sprinkling of "Bling". :dance: :dance: :dance: Think of even more "Bling" to do if I can.Crawl under a pile of leafs till Thoresby :cool:

1) Just fitted new side skirts

2) In process of fitting new bumper and I/C Ducts

3) Hopefully change the rear spolier

4) Fit 99 spec rears

5) Hopefully if funds allow fit 99 spec front lights

6) Change me wing mirrors cos am sick of everyone now having veilsides :rolleyes:

7) Weld up the door handle openings

8) Hose of Kolor respray

9) Fit the air ride front suspension so I can get on the bleedin ferry!!

10) Change some of the interior panels

11) Fit some new wheels

12) If time and money allow, alter the design of the existing bonnet bulge

So guess am gonna be busy, oh and broke unless you guys start buying more stuff of me :dance:
