Both looking wicked.

Thanks Warren smile.gif

It was just a pleasure to take another Zed for a spin, kinda like getting into your own car - only its not your own car (and it goes faster LOL)

Simon

Can you tell me is that just the strotek sills on your car with the scoops?

I always thought the scoops were part of the wide arches.

If its just sills how far around the rear arches do they go, is it just blended in above the scoops or do they go all the way to the rear bumper?

Cheers

Paul

Ill take this to the top so Simon sees it Paul.

They are cut and blended mate, I'll let him explain smile.gif

Glen

Just wondering whoever owns the red ZED,what front nose cone is that.

Mine is a bit knackered so i'm looking to replace it and i really like the look of that one!!!

Thanks guys

BTW i do like the black one too i just like the red one more!!!

Paul

Some superb pics you got there Glen M8. A pleasure to meet up with you again yesterday. For those of you who have not met Senna yet he is star!, complete Zed loon with an awesome looking motor. Will have to meet up again soon mate for some more Zed banter. Thanks for letting me take your motor out for a blast. It felt really weird driving it, just like my car, but in black, freaky!!!

Maybe we should have a meet on the IOW for the forum during the summer months. We have a number on car clubs who have cruises on the island in the summer (porsche club GB etc). Loads of camping sites to choose from and there is a vast array of pubs down here (Glen can confirm this!!!) Let me know what you think guys. I am sure Glen would help me arrange a Zed weekend over here. Could probably get a good discount from Wightlink ferries for the trip accross.

Paul H, the front bumper is a strosek supplied by the zed centre, they are very helpful. Give Luke a bell and he can tell you how much one costs. But beware, they are not the easiest of things to install.( it did not quite meet the front wings correctly.

Paulg, well spotted M8!!!. This is a bit of a long story but will try to make it brief. I did buy the whole strosek wide arch kit. On getting it I thought bollocks I can install this myself. Fitted the front bumper, rear bumper, started the side skirts and got to the rear arches....Ohh shit!!. They came out quite far and did not look quite right with the wheels!. I did not want to put spacers on the wheels and did not want to buy new ones as I had just bought the khan's. In addition to this I believe that to fit the wide arches you have to cut some of the original wings. I did not want to do this!!

Shitting myself at this point I had no other choice but to slice them off just above the vents. I made sure the offset looked correct for the wheels and fitted them. I had thought looking at the car at this point I had written it off. But I sent it off to the bodyshop and they spent two and a half weeks solid blending the kit in and giving it a bare metal re-spray. I think the job Dave at "BLAX" on the Island did was nothing short of perfect!!. He also did it for a cracking price, great guy!.

The long and short of it is that my car is how I wanted it, a bit more unique and I am happy. Vijay had the same done to his car and it looks shit hot (check out his rides page. If you want any more info Paul give me a bell at work on 01962 866144.

Seez ya!!
