Well, looks like things are beginning to slot into place with a possible relocation down to Hampshire which is what I've been wanting to do for some time. I went to Uni down there and lived there on and off for about 4 years.

 

Things are still in the pipeline at the moment, but hopefully, all going well, I'll be back down in Southampton which I'm really looking forward to. Similar role, but quite a bit more money and a better company.

 

Just gotta find a place with a garage now for the Z!! LOL

I've lived in both areas and like elements of each. Nice place to live on the South Coast. Portsmouth and Southampton are not just in an ideal location (close to London, but also the ferries to France). There's also a lot of insustry there and you're close to the countryside.

Further away from London, less industry, access roads aren't as good. Bournemouth doesn't exactly have a thriving commercial port. Working in the shipping industry, that's kinda critical really....lol

I was in Poole with the Marines for quite a while, it was quite nice actually but just not enough surf (so I moved to Kent????)
