after doing some searching on here i just wonder what settings folks are using for Greddy Profec II....seem to have the low setting perfect....still hunting around for the perfect high

ill post my high settings up in a bit - on my stock setup they get about 14psi, 14.9 peak recorded

I just checked my peak recorded and its now 16.2psi!

 

I dont really want to go above 15 on the stock engine and tubs.

 

checked the greddy and the waste gate opening (start boost) was set at 15.0!

 

I found the setup notes from when it was installed, settings on high are now

 

set 40%

gain 25%

start boost 10.0

warning 15.5

limiter 20%

 

the start boost was set at 15.0, set 30%, gain 20% when i just checked it.

 

(all this in high mode of course)

 

I'm now going to slowly raise the start boost till the peak reads about 14.5

 

Anyone know how to use the last boost function?

also if i hold the select button for about 5sec i get a red screen that looks like a test screen, says H-L on it which can be changed to H-H. what is this?

the air temp will affect boost setting's. you need to turn it down abit in colder weather

when the last boost feature is turned on does it replace the peak boost feature?

 

ie shows the peak reached on the last boost session rather than overall?

what do i need to turn down tho, the set, gain or start?

i use the profec eo-1 and on that you turn down the set

dont no if the setting's are the same but here are mine

start 7.1 7.1

 

but this is with aris forged pistons which have a slightly lower compression rate

What have you got the lower boost set, could you post up the settings you have used, gonna put mine in soon and havent got a clue where to start with the settings. Is yours a pretty much standard Zed??

...the perfect low is on a scrap of paper in the car so will get it out later on and post up the settings

How much boost you getting with your low settings?

yeah i looked in the book and the HH isnt mentioned....weird

 

not sure on low boost....i dont have it switched on to record...these low settings spool up fast and feel very responsive through all gears so not wanting to change them at all....at first the high setting feels a bit laggy but pulls hard and never seems to hit the limit

just drove the car for the first time since changing the settings

 

the last boost option is really cool.

 

im getting a steady 9psi on low.

 

got 15.2 on high so i have turned the set down from 40 to 38

 

will keep dropping it till its down to about 14.5

last boost is really cool.

 

it shows the peak last boost you reached when you release the gas pedal, displays it for 3 seconds and goes back to normal. Doesnt effect your peak boost record either.

 

press select until you see OFF, turn the set knob to ON and press it to set.

got the last boost function up and running now.....very helpful...running consistant high 15.5 and low 11

not sure which settings i prefer both seem enjoyable enough though i'm careful with all this wet weather...roll on the dry days

 

what settings you running now ed?

turned the set down from 40 to 38 and now making between 14.8 and 15 at top revs which is spot on
