yeah i have 5k burning a hole i my pocket at the mo, can't warrent near to a grand just for an unsprayed bumper no matter how elusive lol :D

Bumper: $399.99

Shipping to US town: $125.00

Shipping from US town to UK town: $547.00

 

Total: $1071.00

 

That's £550 WITHOUT import tax!

 

 

With import tax, fitting and spraying it's going to be getting on towards a grand.

 

And you have to bolt nasty indicators to it.

If I had an older Zed with a standard front I'd be really tempted - but that's A LOT of money for a front bumper.

If you like it that much, why dont you buy the one that Luke sells, and modify it to match? A damm sight cheaper, all be it a little more work involved.

Its the lambo sv with a zed bonnet and lights superimposed lol :D Very very rough though. Planning to try and shape the bumper on a picture of mine to see how it looks

Very true although the outer sides stand out which could be tricky to emulate, maybe an idea to concider though.

 

I'm working on the reliability of mine first then lightening it and working on the interior before i start the outside.

 

All of it has to be done for JAE though, desperately want to win something this year :D

Meh. Nothing a bit of chicken wire, polystyrene, wood, clay, filler or metal (or a combination :D) wouldn't put right to form the plug for the shape on the sides that stands out. Whack over your 'glass to get your mould, prep it, take one from it, bond it to the bumper, smooth it in and bobs your mothers brother. If you say it quickly it doesn't sound much... ;)

That's what i said in my pm to him, i did however say we could aquire a licence to reproduce the facia over here and pay them a fee for their design for each one produced as i know them reasonably well and i don't want to see them ripped off.

So you're prepared to go to all the expense of having one shipped over (over £1000) and then the potential hassle of getting permission to copy it over here. Then you've got to have them made to order here, which wont be cheap as one-offs never are.

 

 

This one has an additional bottom lip added.

 

And yet there is already a version of a similar one here in the UK for only £412 (+ delivery) + a bit of modding to taste!

I know but no matter how much you mod something it's never going to be exactly the same, it's a beautiful design, i think the zcentre one is too just i don't know there's something slightly different with the twinz one that stands out
