I know I can buy them, but I can get them from a mate gratis if I know the size... found Blackmagic's picture (below) and got some M12 (not sure of pitch) which go in fine but don't 'bite' like I expected - standard calipers & bolts are much harder to tighten in comparison.

Am I missing something, or were the threads on my old calipers just completely full of shite?!?

dont qoute me but i thought the pitch of the thread was 1.5mm not 1mm as in the pic,as i said ime not 100% sure but 1.5 rings a bell

you can buy them from nissan, think there about £1.50 each

not sure about the R33 brembos but the R34s are a fine thread

Bear in mind these are f-off bolts for holding brake calipers on - they are not your basic mild steel things ! I bought a full set of bolts and washers from Mike Feeney - think the washers cost as much as the bolts !!!!!

I thought i'd seen them quoted at £40 a set, which is why i wanted to source them elsewhere. And the ones I've got are high-tensile aerospace grade so no worries there ;)

M12 Fine pitch (1.25mm) High tensile bolts.

smithy

i knew it had a 5 in it

cheers guys - just measured the pitch & that's what they are!

Hopefully by the weekend I'll be able to stop a bit more sharpish!

Think I paid about half that, from Mike.
