Having had absolutely no luck with the 300zx i am considering letting the guy who is using it for filming at the moment sell it for me.....apparently its quite famous now and should recoup some of the fortune I have spent on it due to its new found fame....its been in the paper and will be on film 2006 etc.

 

I am considering buying an M3 on an 02 plate and wondered if anyone had any experience of the car in terms of performance and importantly reliability!!!!

PS.I really wanted to make the zed thing work but I trusted the wrong garages with the work and over a year later the car will be fixed and I've lost interest :cry:

Maybe I should reveal who did the work? On a lighter note who fancies a race when I get an M3!!!!! How do they perform in comparison?

i had acess to a 02 m3 evo model and you know something it was the most solid car, it felt safe, turned heads and did not go wrong once, its performance was fantastic and build quality was great if i had the coin i would buy one without thinking

Thats what I think of the car!!! Thanks for that i was beginning to think I'd lost the plot with the critcism the M3 was getting on here. I can't justify the cost of the zed when I can own a piece of class solid engineering for little over what I've spent on the thing.

i was reversing down the drive when a petruding rockery was unable to be seen and i reversed over it with my front wheel thus ripping the bumper off and causing critical scuffage to alloy wheel!!!

Anyway back to the subject in hand. Any car is better than my zed and my experience of them and the M3 is gorgeous, quick and can be driven both economically or savagely.....plus its a convertible with a hard top option. I personally love it!!

I love the 320CEs. Becoming old skool, but still very very cool. Sure, a totally different car than an M3 and you can't compare the two. But it would be fun to have a 500bhp V8 under the bonnet.

Too true. Mercs have way more class than BMs ever could......(hence I bought one :dance: )

 

The 3 series is as common as pigeon poo! Plus when Jaguar tried to imitate BMW by building that wretched X-type, they too cheapened their brand.

 

However Merc go smaller with the B and even A class cars yet still manage to retain their prestige ;)
