Hmmmmmmm, not really my cup of tea :) but if you're happy with it, then so be it.

BTW, here is the pink 350Z I was talking about on the other thread.....

Bleaurgh :hurl:

That's just a Micra that grew a bit bigger and fatter

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

That's awful. The car from behind, litterally looks like it's wearing a skirt.

I don't think they are being intentionally mean, Anna....

.....but you have to understand most of us here are men. Men do not like pink cars (although I do have doubts about one or two members  ) so we find it hard to be enthusiastic about one.

You have clearly put a lot of effort into this and so long as you are pleased with it, that's all that matters. The world would be a dull place if we all had the same taste.

It's not my thing, but it does look a quality job, although I'd lose that black strip above the rear lights. I hope it gives you sufficient pleasure in return for all your efforts.

Richard :)

Thanks. I dont really take it to heart because at the end of the day its my car and I will do what I want to it anyway. I am not bothered about whether other people like it or not ( you probably noticed that already though lol). I just put the pics up because there were people who asked to see them.

As for it giving me pleasure.................................well.........................

the engine and gearbox went bang just after I got it back so I havent even driven her pink yet!!! Having new engine and gearbox put in now!!! Probably having a manual conversion done. Then I might get some of that pleasure

This will be the 3rd and FINAL one !!

Reckon we should change your username to Lady Penelope ! :D

I think it looks superb and nicely done, better than all those boring 99 spec this 99 spec that and a colour no one else will have, very original  and guys this is a girls car and pink is a girls colour

Thank you. Give yourself a pat on the back :D

Fab colour - would look good with a nose bra... And I'd do the wheels in blood red, not black.

Good luck - hope to see the car some day.

Thanks for the compliment but I have to step in where the red wheels are concerned!! Pink and Red together are a big NO NO!!!

I think everyone's being fine. I'm sure lots of people are biting their tongues...I am and it's feckin' killing!

;)

You should try it more often "Mr Stock-Ish" I think pink is good for a girl, good on yer me duck.

I choose red to draw attention to the pink. I think that black wheels tend to get hidden, and with the body colour being (dare I say) so bold, the wheels - which after all are an important part of the whole statement, should be equally dareing in both complimenting and setting-off the pink.

One more thought, when wearing a pink dress - what colour shoes would you wear?

Good luck

That is a very good point now you put it like that.

I did originally suggest pink wheels but Paul was not convinced. I am now leaning towards chrome ones. I think they would look quite nice.

In the meantime, if anyone wants to photoshop me some chrome and some pink wheels to help me decide I would be very grateful.

Thanks

Well done for going your own way and doing what you want to do. If you're happy that's all that counts. Personally I'd rather stir-fry my own testicles than do that to a Z32 but that's just me. BTW, please don't put pink or chrome rims on it. Black or very dark silver would probably be best. But hey, what the hell do I know! ;)

Well done that Zed..........it at least has got some taste and is obviously rebelling against it's appearance, not wanting to be seen in public.

I think it looks nice,

you can also get pink alloys at halfords now!

Well done Anna for not going with the flow. I think with slightly bigger wheels (18/19 inch) it'll look fine :)

Glad you're pleased with it and keep up with the good work :D

Anna I think more girls will be looking at the Zed now.
