I’m a new member of this club /forum and as such I don’t actually know any of you or the reasons this club seems to be split into 2 camps at the moment. To be truthful at the moment I don’t want to.

But that’s not my point. The current set of round robin is being conducted on an OPEN forum, so anybody can read it, i.e. members and NON-MEMBERs.

While you all are entitled to you opinions and to voice them, they should be voiced in a private members area, say a section for members to discuss issues involving how the club is managed, grievances, etc, not where they can be read by people who are not members, BUT maybe thinking of joining.

Not only does all this wrangling put the club and yourselves, and might I say Torque-power, (as it seems to be the signature of a lot of the people with negative issues towards this club) in a bad light, but it will put people off joining either club/forum.

Without new members as well established members both will suffer.

I wish you’d all go out and get drunk together and settle your differences, and maybe remember you used to be mates.

I’m a new member and I don’t want to get involved in this dispute, but I do think that it should not be discussed on a public area.

“Washing your dirty laundry in public” is never a good thing!

Please also remember the reasons for AUP’s on any forum is because British law applies here too. If you make slanderous, defamatory, abusive or “insight to cause” comments you can be prosecuted.

The Club is only trying to protect itself and you.

May be the committee should have a members only area where they can explain why someone was banned and what rules of the AUP where breached.

I hope you all can settle you differences, and move this club forward, as I believe all of you only want what’s best for this club.

Well said that man.

You'll find with your comment on the Torque Power people that seam to be the ones with the issues are the old long standing memebers of 300zx.co.uk and rememebr how this place used to be and which is why they are so dissapointed to how it is now.

 iv kept rather quiet about this so far but this club in the past two years has never been the same from when i first joined.......far to many keyboard ninjas about who just wanna create an argument or attention to themselves for no reason but to stir up a little bit of trouble.........it has to stop somewhere..........and when something does go wrong the mods get blamed.......i think they've done a great job so far and i feel theyre never appreciated which is why i never put myself forward for any position as i know it would really piss me off when people dont appreciate the hard work that is put in.........people really need to lay off and just enjoy the fundementals of this club and that is Zed ownership or intrest.........if not move on as this probably aint the club for you.......

The bitching has to stop :smash:

Here here

At last some sanity.

Can't entierly agree with you, potential new members should be aware of what they could be letting themselves in for if they were to become a full member, it's only fair that ALL sides should be allowed to comment (within the AUP).

May I susuggestgest that you look around the forum properly, we already have a Members Only section, and have had all the time I can remember! So please make use of it, it's what you pay for ;) When you do you'll see a post by myself, regarding the current 'problems'.... in private!

The thing is, this place will still remain here, despite the current exits of established members, it's happened before, and it'll happen again, thats life (NO, nothing to do with Easther Rantzen ;) )! It is always a shame to see well liked members leave for their own reasons, and there are always, other members who'll, for their own reasons, welcome them leaving and play on it. Childish I know, but that's what people are like.

Personally I'll stay in touch with the guys that have left, because I'm a paid member over on Torque-Power, as I'm a paid member on ZClub, t doesn't mean that I won't be coming here, it just means that I like to see more than just one view on the Z scene, as I'm perfectly entitled to do, because no one has the right to say otherwise!

I love this place, and always have, and I hope it continues to carry on being as good as when I first found it many years ago, and I'm sure it will, one way or another.

Top lad.

Shame when other people who have been members of the club and have stated similar they have been flamed. but its well said and very true.

ok heres the way i see it mate

I am a new member and hardly ever post because of my shy retiring nature, there are some top people on here , irrespective of wether we agree with what they say or not, the knowledge base here about z's is second to none, it is a club for ALL people who love z's wether we like that person or not, there is no reason to engage in anything you dont want to, this club is what we make it( thats me) and it depends on what you see it as.I personally love the place irrespective of wether people are forming cliques or not

  here here

tell me iff ime wrong but there are a few on here present and past who seem to think this club is bigger and more overwelming than the 300zx its self :smash: the cars been around far longer than this place and this club is one of many in this country, and thats a very small percentage of the zx clubs world wide.this place rocks and i find the tech and banter great but ffs its a gathering of a few who own or enjoy the nissan 300zx not the future of the health service. Iff people standdown so be it,iff people leave,so be it,people come and people go its called "choice", we dont pay the mods or commitees wages from our taxes there here because they like us enjoy a nissan car and i dont think a £15 a poxy year membership warrants a licence to become keyboared politicans and demand all kind of statements and explanations from a few lads who have volunteed to run the club for our enjoyment. Now ime going to have a cuppa and and focus all my energy and proper time with what really matters and is important in my life "MY FAMILY"

and tomorrow spend time with the 2nd most important thing, driving it!!!!!!!!! :) :)

Its statments like this that make the whole debate worthwhile. You can go on and on as we do and nothing gets sorted. Whatever you do (any of you) read the last post before this and take it in. And then leave the committee alone to do what THEY do best.

Agree entirely, people need to get out more!

...yeah in there ..Zed's.... :)

...

To a spelling class I hope..... 'in their Zeds'

Isn't that a grammar class? He spelt his word correctly, just used the wrong word ;)

I dunno who's more excited to be honest. No one's sure about what the little fat kid is so happy about, but you can quite rightly see that the dog is thinking he's getting his oats, so can asume he has a real reason for being pleased and happy with himself. :wack:

that dog is a stud.. he just keeps going and going and going!

I have a lot of respect the the pink panther....he just keeps taking it and taking it!
